878 Yonge St Condos is a new condominium of 59 stories by Cityzen Development in Toronto. This project is currently under construction and will be located at 878 Yonge Street in Yorkville, near the southwest corner of Yonge Streets and Scollard Streets.
The 53-storey residential tower will be included with 194 residential units. It includes a mixture of 108 one-bedroom layouts as well as 54 two-bedroom layouts. There are also 32 three-bedroom layouts.
Amenities 16371 square feet of indoor amenity space are proposed for 878 Yonge St Condos. These condos would be located at the building’s base from levels 2 through 6.
On the 17th floor, an additional 2,970 square feet of indoor amenity space will be available. A total of 4,500 square feet of outdoor amenity space are also proposed. Most of this would be in the form of an outdoor terrace at the fourth floor, with views of Yonge Street. The building’s sixth and fifth floors have smaller outdoor amenity terraces that would face south.
These new condominiums will also require seven levels of underground parking. They will be able to store 189 vehicles and 196 bikes.
The Frank Stollery Parkette is adjacent to the site. This small, public courtyard can be found on the opposite side of the site. This parkette will be reimagined as part of the proposal and upgraded with better landscaping and an addition to a world-class artwork piece. It is a great space for Toronto’s downtown.
The base of the 878 Yonge Street Condos building will be modern and attractive. It will feature lots of glass and clean lines. Scollard will have access to the residential tower. It is slim in form and has a striking grid-like facade made of concrete and white marble.
